About the Conference

The Australian Uranium and Rare Earths Conference is in its ninth year and is the leading event in Australia for the Uranium sector. Last year, due to industry demand, the conference incorporated Rare Earths into the programme with great success.

Over 500 delegates attended the Australian Uranium Conference in 2012 from Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, UK and USA in what was a tough year for not just Uranium markets but the market in general.

With the re-election of the Western Australian Liberal Barnett Government, new government policies to mine Uranium in Queensland, and a turnaround in sentiment in Japan, we have seen a slight resurgence in the uranium market over the past year.

The Lynas plant is now underway in Malaysia providing a better climate to maximise the investment and return from REE deposits.

Combined with the chance to meet commodity buyers, brokers, funds, retail investors and government representatives this event is the number one event for both the Uranium and Rare Earths industry.

Technical Government & Rare Earths Presentations

Now in its fourth year the Technical and Government forum has provided delegates with vital information in relation to the geology, mining, and metallurgy of Uranium and Rare Earths projects. It also provides vital information on state government policy issues such as approvals, environmental management, OHS, transport, and supply.

This forum is a vital information session on developing their company technically and socially.
