Banuelos) and Frank Esparza III (Rebecca Esparza); grandchildren: Kylani, Kaleya and Kylie; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews: William (Billy) Phillips, Maryann Wright (Mark Wright), Stacie Salinas (Jimmy Salinas), Tiffany Maloch (Chas Maloch), Michael Wright, Jimmy Salinas (Alyssa Bermudez), Mila Salinas, Joaquin Salinas, Jae’Ven Salinas, Desirae Archuleta (DesiSue) and Frankie Esparza lV, as well as many other family and friends.
Services held in Linda’s honor will be at St. Joseph Basilica, 1109 Chestnut St. A rosary will be held today, Thursday, June 14, at 5:30 p.m. and a mass tomorrow, Friday, June 15, at 11:30 a.m.

Linda Darlene Belt
A beloved and devoted wife and mother has been reunited in heaven with her husband Robert H. Beland, stillborn son Robert H. Beland, Jr., loved ones and friends.
Emma was one of seven children born to Walter and Ethel Lucas in Alameda. She worked for a prestigious bro-kerage firm in San Francisco and was known to handle the investment portfolio of Joan Crawford.
Alongside her husband Robert, they raised two daughters in Newark, Calif., for 14 years until they relocated to Fresno. It was there she returned to the workforce finishing her career at the age of 75 when she retired from Blue Cross.
Emma loved entertaining, deco-rating and gardening, saying she did her best praying there. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and concern for others.
Her death has left a hole in the hearts of those who knew her.
Emma leaves behind two daugh-ters, Jeanette Beland and Andrea Marshall; son in law, Dr. Daniel Marshall; sisters, Beverly Splan and Betty Spingola and sister in law, Anne Beland. She is also survived by nieces: Marie Tapia, Laurie Mari, Claire Splan, Kerrin Beland, Kelli
Proctor and Nephew Tanjore Splan; many great-nieces and -nephews; grandchildren: Chrissy McCormick, Michael Marshall and Sarah Linden and great-grandchildren: Hunter McCormick, Hayden McCormick, Jayden Marshall Martinez, Noah Buckley, Tristan Marshall and Gemma Marshall.
Honoring Emma’s wishes there will be a private burial.

Linda Darlene Belt was born in Alameda on Nov. 7, 1962, to Mary Phillips. While growing up, Linda blessed all that knew her. She had a heart of gold and was loved by many.
In 1981, Linda graduated from Alameda High School and started her career at US Bank. In 2000, Linda decided to move on to Medical Insurance Exchange of California as an accounts receivable technician.
Linda’s favorite pasttimes included spending quality time with family, camping, watching her favorite sitcoms, doing crosswords and cheering on the Warriors.
On May 28, 2018, Linda was reunited with her Savior; moth-er, Mary Phillips; adopted father, Frank R. Esparza, Jr.; siblings: William Phillips, Sharon Avery and Marvin Malone; sisters-in-law, Marlene Malone and Diane Phillips; Auntie Emma Esparza and
