"PROOFS" OF THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS:

1. The empty tomb.2. The missing body.3. The change in the disciples.4. The eyewitness reports of seeing

Him.5. The existence of the Church.6. The practice of worshiping on

Sunday.

PROVING THE RESURRECTION...

INDUCTIVELY!

INDUCTIVE PROOF:• Assume: the resurrection is FALSE!• Follow that assumption (NO resur-

rection), to its logical conclusions.• SHOW that it leads to

contradictions! • THEREFORE, conclude that the

assumption is false, so the resurrection is TRUE!

IS there a resurrection?

ASSUME that there is NOT!

CONCLUSION: Therefore, Christ has not been raised!

CONSIDER the following 8 RESULTS of that CONCLUSION!

IF THERE IS NO RESURRECTION:

1. Our preaching is vain, 14.

2. Your faith is vain, 14

3. We are false witnesses of God, 15.

4. Your faith is worthless!, 17

5. We are still in our sins!, 17

IF THERE IS NO RESURRECTION:

6. Those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished!, 18.

7. We only have hope in Christ in this life, 19.

8. We are, of all men, most to be pitied!, 19.

BUT CHRIST IS ALIVE!!!:1. Our preaching is true and

powerful!

2. Your faith is fact-based and reasonable!

3. We are true and faithful witnesses!

4. Your faith has transformed you!

BUT CHRIST IS ALIVE!!!5. We are forgiven and cleansed

from our sins through faith in Christ!

6. Those who have fallen asleep in Christ are WITH HIM, and will be raised!

BUT CHRIST IS ALIVE!!!7. We have hope in Christ, not only

in this life, but also in the life to come!

8. We are, of all men…most blessed!!!

Results Of The Resurrection, 15:20-28.

• We shall be raised, 15:20-23.

• Jesus shall reign, 15:24-25.

• Death shall be abolished, 15:26.

• God will be glorified, 15:27-28.

HALLELUJAH!!!
