15 Get on the Ark

People lived without thinking about God.

But Noah was a person who obeyed God.

God told Noah, “You will build an ark for me.

I will send great rain on the earth.”

Genesis 6~9

Bang! Bang! Noah and his three sons built the ark

as God commanded. Noah shouted,

“There will be great rain! Come aboard the ark and live!”

But no one listened to Noah.

God led the animals into the ark.

As soon as Noah and his family were on the ark - boom!

God shut the door.

Rain started to splatter down from the sky.

Everyone ran to Noah‛s ark.

“Bang! Bang! Bang!” “Save us, Noah!” they cried.

But the door did not open. For forty days rain fell

on the earth. The water rose above the mountains

and the ark floated on the water.

It was a long time. God used the wind to make

the water go down.

The ark rested on Mount Ararat.

Noah could see the land again. Finally the doors

opened and everyone went outside. Noah gave

a sacrifice to God, and God promised through

a rainbow he would never destroy the world

with water again.

“Mom, I think the tree will grow better if we put it outside in sunlight.”

“That’s a good idea. Why don’t you help me move the tree?”

“Okay!”

Namwoo was glad he could help his mom.

“I’m so glad you could help me,” his mom said.

Namwoo thought, ‘oh, even though I’m not strong,

I can help mom.’

We can make God happy too. How?

2. Put the cut-outs on the end of the chopstick

3. Tape the cut-outs to the chopsticks
