2010 Events

Jointly Organized by Chinese Overseas Transportation Association (COTA) and Washington, D.C. Chinese Transportation Association (WCTA), COTA/WCTA An-nual Technical Symposium is held in Washington D.C. every year before the TRB Annual Meeting. The 13th COTA/WCTA Annual Technical Symposium on “Sustainable Transportation Development in China” was successfully held on January 10th,2010. More than 100 Chinese transportation professionals attended this event, including people from top research institutes, uni-versities and consulting firms in both China and US.

Jointly Organized by Chinese Overseas Transporta-tion Association (COTA) and universities in China, International Conference of Chinese Transportation Professionals (ICCTP) is the most influential an-nual transportation conference in China involving professionals from all over the world. The 10th an-nual conference was held at Beijing University of Technology from August 4th to 8th, 2010. It focuses on the current situation of the development of China transportation, discusses the issues encountered while building up the intelligent transportation in urban areas and exchanges international experi-ences in this field.
