A range of CBCT scans will be provided during the course, covering surgical, endodontic, orthodontic, implant and other cases.The course content encompasses Level 2 training criteria and is based on the latest European guidelines by Brown et al 2014. Suk Ng Dr Suk Ng is a Consultant in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology, working at Guys’ Hospital and, until recently, also at King’s College Hospital. She qualified at Manchester Dental School in 1987. After working for one year in general practice, she was awarded an MRC Research Training Fellowship to study for a PhD in “Ultrasound Imaging of Enamel Caries”. Suk did her specialist training in Dental Radiology at Guy’s Hospital, and joined the GDC’s Specialist List for Dental & Maxillofacial Radiology in the year 2000. For over two decades, Suk has taught dental radiology at under- and post-graduate level at a number of dental schools including Guy’s, King’s, Royal London and Bristol Dental Schools. She was the Programme Director of KCL’s distance learning MSc programme in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology. In 2017, Suk launched a new university programme, PostGraduate Certificate in “Dental CBCT Radiological Interpretation” at King’s College London. Suk is the immediate-past President of the British Society of Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology.

David Andrew David Andrew is a Senior Lecturer in Dental & Maxillofacial Radiology at the University of Sheffield and an NHS Consultant for Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and Chesterfield Royal Hospital. He has been a registered specialist since 2013 and combines busy NHS practice with academic research and teaching. His clinical interests relate to oncology imaging and intervention in the head and neck. He is looking forward to returning to Dublin after a 4 year hiatus.

Anthony Reynolds Anthony Reynolds obtained a First Class degree in Physics from Trinity College Dublin and an MSc in Medical Physics from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada and a PhD in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania, USA. He has specialized in medical image processing since 1973. In 1985 he devised one of the earliest computer algorithms for 3D volume rendering, and is a joint holder of US Patent #4,737,921. Dr Reynolds worked as a physicist in Radiotherapy at the Cancer Control Agency, Vancouver, Canada, and in Diagnostic Radiology at Hammersmith Hospital, London. In 1991 he was a co-founder of Image Diagnostic Technology Ltd (IDT), a company specializing in arranging and post-processing CT scans for surgical planning, and now serves as the Managing Director for IDT Ireland. Dr Reynolds is a Registered Clinical Scientist in the UK (number CS.03469) and is a member of the Irish College of Physicists in Medicine (number 877781). He lectures extensively on medical imaging, radiation safety and computerised surgical planning and is the author or joint author of over 60 publications.

Nicholas Drage Nicholas Drage is Consultant in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology at the University Dental Hospital, Cardiff. He is actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate education in the UK. His main interests are cone beam computed tomography, salivary gland imaging and interventional sialography, and has published several articles in these fields. He is co-author of ‘Essentials of Dental Radiography and Dental Radiology’ and ‘Radiography and Radiology for Dental Care Professionals’. He is on the RCR Examination Board for the Diploma in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology and is a past President of the British Society of Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology.
