SENIORS AND THEIR FAMILIES - IT'S TIME TO FILE!The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is available online by starting your account at FAFSA.gov and the applications are due on or before March 2nd. Parents do not need their taxes completed before filing, just an estimate of your yearly income is all you need to file. THE SOONER, THE BETTER....To qualify for grants, low interest loans and on campus jobs, you must submit a FAFSA to the school(s) you are thinking about attending. Don't be at the end of the line, get your FAFSA in as soon as possible! You can't get help with financing your college without submitting a FAFSA. This is required everywhere.THERE IS HELP OUT THERE....There are many websites available to guide you through this process. I am also available anytime to help you complete the process. BE SURE TO SAVE YOUR WORK AS YOU GO ALONG! This will make the process easier in the long run.JUST GET ER' DONE!! For our honeymoon, we drove across country from Tennessee to Vegas where we caught a flight to Hawaii. For the month long drive we used an online community called Couch Surfing to find our lodging. We stayed with stranger after stranger that invited us into their homes. We slept on couches, floors, in extra bedrooms... It sounds scary, but 98% of our stays left us with lifelong friends that we still keep in touch with today.
