INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM

Estimados Colegas:

El 13avo Simposio Internacional de Escultura de Changchun cubrio el Tema "Deporte, Salud y Vida". Como la vision aplicada a estos eventos es muy pragmatica los organizadores Chinos seleccionaron un 80% de Escultura Figurativa y el resto por un set de Escultura No Figurativa.

El Evento se desarrollo justo a lo largo de seis semanas de intensa actividad creativa en la cual los organizadores Chinos proveyeron a los Artistas de toda la asesoria tecnica a la mano para hacer posible obtener en tan corto tiempo el resultado final de Esculturas en Piedra, Acero, Hierro y Fibra de Vidrio. Las Esculturas en Fibra de Vidrio seran muy pronto fundidas en Bronce como material definitivo.

El siguiente PDF presenta una vista rapida de las Obras seleccionadas por el Comite Organizador asi como vistas de los Talleres, algunas Obras en su desarrollo y otras de Obra colocada en el nuevo Parque de Escultura Jing Yue.

Dear Fellows:

The 13th Changchun Sculpture Symposium covered the 'Sports, Health and Life' theme. As the vision of this events is a very pragmatic one, the Chinese organizers opted to select an 80% of representative figurative sculptures, and the rest for a set of non representational sculptures.

The Event just covered six weeks of very intense activity in which the well organized Chineses provided the Artists with all the help at hand in order to make possible to achieve the final result of Stone, Stainless Steel, Iron and Fiber Glass Sculptures. The Fiber Glass Sculptures to be soon casted in Bronze.

The following PDF presents a quick view of the Artworks choosen by the Organizing Committee as well a quick view of the art studio there, including some pictures of the developing sculptures, and the final setting on the Jing Yue Sculpture Park.

Hope this PDF will be a Memory as well an Info source on such Symposium.
