The Environmental Education Coalition of Napa County (EECNC) is excited to announce that Napa’s 2020 Earth Day celebration will take place on Sunday, April 26 th in Downtown Napa at the Oxbow Commons. We invite you to sponsor this very special community event. Earth Day Napa Sponsors are recognized as businesses and organizations that support sustainable living and the thriving future of Napa County. Last year, approximately 8,000 Napa residents and visitors attended Earth Day to explore Napa’s environmental splendor and talk about sustainable living with local businesses and organizations that support the conservation of our planet. Along with live music and food, wine and beer booths, over 100 businesses, nonprofits, and agencies participate with hands-on displays about tips for going green, understanding local ecology, and improving our community’s sustainability. All funds raised through Earth Day support EECNC’s Bus Grant Program and Scholarship Fund. The Field Trip Bus Grant Program provides critical funding to teachers to take Napa students on environmental field trips in our County. The Darcy Aston Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to graduating seniors who plan to study an environmental field.
