-Comparing and Contrasting Gingerbread stories

Writing Workshop/Word Study:

-Revising, editing, and publishing our personal narratives

-Individual writing conferences

-short/long vowels

Math Workshop:

-am/pm

-comparing numbers using greater than, less than, and equal to

-figuring out “how many more”

If you are looking for something to do at home:

-Basic facts to 10, especially doubles (4+4), near doubles (5+6), and making 10 (7+3)

-Say an activity your child does during the day and ask if it is usually done in the am or the pm

Content:

-Wrapped up our short study of how the properties of water can change

-Kindness Elf—Be sure to ask your student about what kindness challenges we completed this week.

-Our DTA student, Miss Hatgas’ last day
