Kindly refer the response to the letters received from ONGC dated on 20.04.2012 and 21.03.2012 (Ref. No. DLH/OESG/DP/CSM/449/2007-08).

To meet the output parameters of the installed De-Salter Vessels ( as per Contract )as per the Vendor recommendations the works are in progress, Vendor concerns are being discussed for making the necessary punctures (on Vessel )for the transformer to grid connections. The 3 No. of 150KVA transformers have already arrived on site and the consortium is in process to take all necessary actions to meet the schedule. However we have submitted for proposal of constructing tanks for settling of crude oil and achieving output parameters for your kind review. Rim Seal fire protection system is fully functional, a vendor level meet was organized on first week on Oct 2011 and all the third party communication i.e. DCS (Honeywell) to PLC (Allen-Bradley) was achieved (witness by ONGC engineers), but the necessary graphics updates were not completed. The necessary issues have been communicated to Honeywell concern and the necessary actions would be planned and performed soon. DCS System was commissioned and total failure of the system is rare event as taken care in the basic design so day-to day problems are majorly maintenance issues, still the necessary concerns of the Desalter team (if any) would be addressed soon after consulting with vendorHowever we are planning in the coming weeks to depute with our team along with

M/s Honeywell for closing all the related to DCS system. We request you during the period kindly inform to concerned persons of desalter team to attend the same and sign off the MOM.Enclosed are the attachments for your ready reference.
