20 INSPECTION CHARGES : Inspection charges 0.60%+ Service Tax As applicable to be paid extra at the time of inspection to Quality Assurance Officer which will be billed by the unit along with bill of the material and will be reimbursed by the paying authority of DDO.

SECURITY DEPOSIT : As per General conditions of contract, CSIDC Form No. 1, Clause 7, the Purchaser /DDOs may require the contractor to furnish a security deposit which shall be made after issue of the acceptance of the supply order within the period specified by the purchaser / DDOs. Such security deposit shall not ordinarily exceed 3%. The security shall be in form of Demand Drafts issued by any of the Scheduled Commercial Banks. No other form of security is to be accepted. The security deposit amount is to be refunded after successful completion of the supply.

5. C.I.D. Joints shall be supplied complete with lSI marked EPDM/SBR Rubber Rings of Type -3 as per IS: 5382/1985 (Reaffirmed 1998) with up-to-date amendments and required nos. of Bolts & Nuts conforming to IS: 13639(Part I) 2002, IS: 1363 (Part III)/2002

8. Characteristics of AC. Coupling shall be according to Clause 4.2 of IS: 1592/2003 with up-to-date amendments. 9. The materials shall be guaranteed by the supplier for a period of 12 months from the date of receipt of the

materials by the consignee. 10. The materials shall be pre-dispatch inspected by the Approved Inspecting Agency. 11. The Pipes to be lSI marked has to qualify all the parameter specified in the said standard. The tests include

hydraulic working pressure test, Hydraulic Bursting test, Crushing test. Bending test, Pipe Straightness test etc. 12. Rates must be quoted on the basis of Per Meter length of AC. Pressure Pipe along with AC. Coupling complete

20 INSPECTION CHARGES : Inspection charges 0.60%+ Service Tax As applicable to be paid extra at the time of inspection to Quality Assurance Officer which will be billed by the unit along with bill of the material and will be reimbursed by the paying authority of DDO.

21. SECURITY DEPOSIT : As per General conditions of contract, CSIDC Form No. 1, Clause 7, the Purchaser / DDOs may require the contractor to furnish a security deposit which shall be made after issue of the acceptance of the supply order within the period specified by the purchaser / DDOs. Such security deposit shall not ordinarily exceed 3% . The security shall be in form of Demand Drafts issued by any of the Scheduled Commercial Banks. No other form of security is to be accepted. The security deposit amount is to be refunded after successful completion of the supply.

Asbestos Cement (AC) Pressure Pipes manufactured as per National and International Standards and are used for Portable Water Supply, irrigation & sheel pipes for normal & optic cables. SCHEDULE – 1 Description of Stores: A.C. Pressure Pipes complete with A.C. Coupling and Sealing Rubber rings: lSI Marked Asbestos Cement Pressure Pipes as per IS: 1592/2003 with up-to-date amendments in nominal length of 4 & 5 meters of nominal diameter and class as given below, complete with lSI Marked A.C. Coupling as per IS: 1592/2003 with up-to-date amendments along with lSI Marked EPDM/SBR Rubber rings of Type - 3, as per IS: 5382/1985 (Reaffirmed 1998) with up-to-date amendments, suitable for use with Portable Water. SIZES The size of AC Pressure pipe represents the diameter of pipe The diameter represents the ID of the pipe. Nominal internal diameter: 80,100,125,150,200,250,300,350,400,450,500,600,700 & 800 mm. CLASSES (Pressure Ratings): Class = hydraulic pressure test (HPT) = twice the working pressure (WP) EG. 15. A.C. Pressure Pipes and A.C. Couplings shall be duly lSI marked as per IS: 1592/2003. Tenderers shall submit duly notarized copy of BIS License complete in all respects.

16. Nominal length of A.C. Pressure Pipes shall be not less than 4 Meters. 17. C.I.D. Joints shall be duly lSI marked as per IS:8794/1988 with up-to-date amendments and Rubber sealing

18. C.I.D. Joints shall be supplied complete with lSI marked EPDM/SBR Rubber Rings of Type -3 as per IS: 5382/1985 (Reaffirmed 1998) with up-to-date amendments and required nos. of Bolts & Nuts conforming to IS: 13639(Part I) 2002, IS: 1363 (Part III)/2002

19. AC. Coupling shall be supplied with lSI marked Rubber Rings of Type -3 as per IS: 5382/1985 (Reaffirmed 1998) with up-to-date amendments.

20. AC. Pressure Pipes & AC. Couplings shall be manufactured using materials indicated in Clause 3.1 of IS: 1592/2003 with up-to-date amendments.

21. Characteristics of AC. Coupling shall be according to Clause 4.2 of IS: 1592/2003 with up-to-date amendments. 22. The materials shall be guaranteed by the supplier for a period of 12 months from the date of receipt of the

materials by the consignee. 23. The materials shall be pre-dispatch inspected by the Approved Inspecting Agency. 24. The Pipes to be lSI marked has to qualify all the parameter specified in the said standard. The tests include

hydraulic working pressure test, Hydraulic Bursting test, Crushing test. Bending test, Pipe Straightness test etc. 25. Rates must be quoted on the basis of Per Meter length of AC. Pressure Pipe along with AC. Coupling complete

with Rubber Rings on F.O.R. destination basis anywhere in Chhattisgarh State. 26. The tenderers must submit a notarized copy of "Process certificate for manufacturing of AC. Pressure pipe with

MAZZA Process" issued by anyone of the Third Party Inspecting Agency in the prescribed Format as per Annexure-A
