The Audi Ajax Cup is a dual Giant Slalom right on the Little Nell run down Aspen Mountain,
ending in Aspen’s Gondola Plaza. Teams of six are racing head-to-head until one is named the
winner and awarded the famed Gorsuch Cup. Each team has a pro-racer, last year’s included
Chris Davenport, Casey Puckett, Daron Rahlves and AJ Kitt.

9:30 p.m. New Year’s Eve Celebration featuring The Infamous Stringdusters | Wheeler Opera House

Letting the past inform and the present propel, the Stringdusters' style and substance are
uniquely Infamous. Since 2007, the band's ever-evolving artistry and boldly creative
collaborations — including Ryan Adams, Joss Stone, Bruce Hornsby, Joan Osborne, and Lee Ann
Womack — have pushed them past the edges of traditional acoustic music and carved out a
musical niche all their own in the hearts of fans and critics, alike. Over the past couple of years,
they released 2015's “Undercover,” a covers EP, followed by 2016's “Ladies & Gentlemen,” an
album featuring multiple female guest vocalists.
Doors open at 7:45 PM with an open bar (wine and beer) as well as light appetizers until the
concert. A complimentary champagne toast at midnight will follow the concert.

Ring in 2018 at Aspen’s “it party” of the holiday season. The exclusive celebration takes place
throughout Chair 9, the Living Room, element 47’s bar and outdoor lounge, as well as the Grand
Salon. Each space will be exclusively named and feature musical acts for the premier event of
the winter. Enjoy an open bar with food stations replenished throughout the night. DJ Aimee
Robbins will get the crowd on their feed in the Belvedere Lounge, DJ Cyn will be spinning in the
Hennessy Lounge. The party goes from 10pm – 1:30am with a fireworks display over Aspen
mountain at midnight.
