ExperienceMinimum of 10 years Teaching/ Research/Industrial experience of which at least 5 years should beat the level of Associate Professor.

ORMinimum of 13 years experience in Teaching and/or Research and/or Industry. In case of

Research experience good academic record and Books/Research Papers Publications/IPR/Patentrecord shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members of Selection Committee.If the experience in Industry is considered, the same shall be at Managerial Level equivalent toAssociate Professor with active participation record in devising/designing, planning, executing,analyzing, quality control, innovating, training, technical books / research paper publication/ IPR/patent etc. as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection Committee.

Qualification for the post of Assistant Professor -,management

1) first class or equivalent in master degree in Business Administration or equivalent and2 years relevant experience is desirable.

Qualification for the Post of Physical Director

(1) Masters degree in Physical Education or Masters degree in Sports Science with at least55% of the marks or its equivalence in a grade point scale with a consistently goodacademic record.

(2) Record of having represented the university/ college at the inter-university / inter-collegiate competitions or the State and / or national championships.

(3) Qualifying in the National Eligibility Test ( NET) or other accredited test like SLET / SET in

Physical Education conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approvedby the UGC.

(4) Holders of Ph.D. degree as on the date of Notification of these Regulations, along withthose candidates who are awarded a Ph.D. degree through a process of admission,registration, course work and external evaluation as laid down in the UGC (MinimumStandards and Procedure for award of Ph.D.Degree), Regulations, 2009 and so adoptedby the university shall be exempted from NET/ SLET / SET.

(5) NET can be relaxed for candidates having 1st Class Masters of Physical Education orMasters degree in Sports Science.

Qualification for the Post of Assistant Professor - Arts / Humanities / Science

(1) Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% of themarks or equivalent grade where grading system is practiced at the Masters degree levelin a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accreditedforeign university.

(2) Beside fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate should have cleared the NationalEligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGClike SLET / SET.

(3) Holders of Ph.D. degree as on the date of Notification of these Regulations, along withthose candidates who are awarded a Ph.D. degree through a process of admission,registration, course work and external evaluation as laid down in the UGC (MinimumStandards and Procedure for award of M.Phil / Ph.D.Degree), Regulations, 2009 and soadopted by the university shall be exempted from NET/ SLET / SET.

Good academic record with 1st Class at M.Sc.level (for Science) or at M.A.level (forHumanities)

Social Reservations

(1) As per Government Resolutions No.CBC-10/2003/P.K/MVK, Dated 28th January, 2004,SC/ VJ-NT/ OBC candidates shall submit their Validity Certificates within 03 months fromthe date of joining ( if validity is not available at the time of interview )

(2) As per the Government Resolution No.STC-1099/PK- 14/C-10, Dated 16th August, 2000 &STC/ 14200/PK-43/C-10, dated 27th January, 2003 candidates belonging to ST Categoryare mandatory to submit Caste Validity Certificate at the time of interview.

(3) As per the Government Resolution No. CBC-1097/PK-2/97/16 B, Dated 29th March, 1997,A/B/C/D points in VJ/NT Category are interchangeable.

(4) As per the Government Resolution No.CBC-10/2006/PK-15/MVK-5, Dated 05th June,2006 candidates belonging to VJ/NT, OBC & SBC will have to submit Non-Creamy LayerCertificate at the time of interview.

Parallel Reservations

As per the Government Resolution No.SRV-1097/PK-31/98/16-1, Dated 16th March, 1999, 3%Reservation for Physically Handicapped and 30% Reservation for women shall be observed.
