Hi everyone,I hope you have enjoyed the day so far and that myself and Natalie have had a chance to say hello to you all individually.

Firstly, I’d like to thank Colin for his extremely kind words – he’s a big act to follow but I’ll give it a go!

THANKSTraditionally it’s the groom’s job to thank everyone involved in the wedding. I’m going to do so but my thanks to some of the people I’m about to mention extend far beyond that of just today.

Parents (Colin & Jane, Colin & Dawn)For Natalie and I to say we have been lucky with the in-laws we have married into would be a huge understatement. I know I speak for us both when I say that we are amazingly lucky to have such joined such wonderful families.

When I was writing this speech I started listing everything I wanted to say about the things you’ve done for us and the way we feel about you. The list got very long very quickly…..

The truth is I could stand here and eulogise for hours on end about you all but for the sake of the guests I’d like to summarise with this.

Your love is unconditional, your help, support and N\PKHUJL�PUÄUP[L�HUK�`V\Y�JVTWHU`�H�WSLHZ\YL��-VY�this and so much more we will always be grateful.

Bridemaids (Emma & Hannah), Ushers (Neil & Webs),Best Man (Pato)3HKPLZ�ÄYZ[��IV[O�,TTH�HUK�/HUUHO�SVVR�L_[YLTLS`�lovely today and I know Natalie wants to say a big public thank you to both of you for all of your help and support. You organised a brilliant hen do and have been there to advise and help whenever Natalie’s needed you.

;V�T`�ZPNUPÄJHU[S`�SLZZ�WYL[[`�\ZOLYZ"�>LIZ�HUK�my “Brother from another Mother” Neil. Thanks for all the help you have given to us particularly today, looking after guests and ensuring the day runs smoothly.

For my best man Pato, a massive thank you for organising an absolutely superb stag- do in Ibiza. 0[� KLÄUP[LS`� PZU»[� LHZ`� JV�VYKPUH[PUN� ��� ISVRLZ� H[�the best of times but when they are all extremely hammered it becomes near impossible. Somehow he pulled it off. Beyond that, I just want to say thanks for being such a good mate to me over the last few years.

For those of you that don’t know Pato I think this might be a good time to point out that he does have some issues when it comes to lying. He can’t help himself. “A fantasist” I believe the commonly used phrase is. In fact I would suggest taking anything he is about to stand up and say about me with a pretty large pinch of salt….he’s a little bit (do action)

Finally to all of the other guests – thank you for all of your extremely generous gifts and cards they’re very much appreciated.

These are just a small collection of the Z\WLYSH[P]LZ�[OH[�OH]L�ILLU�SL]LSSLK�H[�4,�V]LY�[OL�years ladies and gentleman…….

But I prefer not to brag so instead I’m going to talk about Natalie…..

0�ÄYZ[�TL[�5H[HSPL�VU�H�OVSPKH`�PU�.YHU�*HUHYPH��I was with Pato and Webs and Natalie was with ,TTH��

To say it was a chance meeting would probably be an understatement given the distance we were from home but maybe it was fate.

That night it’s safe to say I’d had a few shandy’s. I was dancing on a podium and when I looked down HJYVZZ�[OL�ÅVVY�0�ZH^�[OPZ�NVYNLV\Z�NPYS�SVVRPUN�\W�at me.

Once I’d established that she was in fact looking at me and it wasn’t the vodka playing tricks on me I started getting my best Patrick Swayze shapes out. Now in my mind I looked like Patrick Swayze

but in reality I probably looked more like John Sargeant on crack. Incredibly when I plucked up the courage to go down and speak to Natalie she still seemed interested.

It was at this point however, I told Natalie one of [OL�]LY`�ML^�SPLZ�0�OH]L�[VSK�OLY�PU�[OL���`LHYZ�^L»]L�been together……

(Ask Natalie) What did I tell you my job was? (Personal Trainer).It was only a white lie ladies and gentleman because at the time I was in fact working at a gym. The reason I said it was because I still couldn’t quite believe she was interested in me and I thought Personal Trainer sounds a tad more glamorous [OHU¯��0»T�[OL�ISVRL�^OV�JOLJRZ�[OL�.OHUHPHU»Z�OH]L�JSLHULK�[OL�IVNZ�V\[�L]LY`����TPU\[LZ¯��

So through a combination of lies and appalling dance moves I’d managed to woo this beautiful lady and we went on to see each every night for the remainder of that holiday and made plans to meet up when we got back.

After only a few dates back home I was unequivocally certain that Natalie was the girl I was going to marry.

Therefore when people have been asking me if I’ve been nervous about today I can honestly say I haven’t.

How could I be nervous when I know I’m just MVYTHSPZPUN�^OH[�0»]L�RUV^U�PU�T`�OLHY[�MVY�V]LY���years?

Apart from the obvious fact that she’s gorgeous and I’m punching several divisions above my weight, the reasons I’ve always been certain Natalie was “the one” are many.

She has a wonderful infectious enthusiasm, always thinks of others before herself and has THKL�[OL�SHZ[�Ä]L�`LHYZ�[OL�OHWWPLZ[�VM�T`�SPML�

,]LY`KH`� 0� MLLS� HTHaPUNS`� S\JR`� [V� OH]L� `V\�in my life and when I saw you walking down the aisle earlier I was the proudest man alive. I know that we’re going to love each other forever, start a family of our own and grow old just as much in love HZ�^L�^LYL�^OLU�^L�ÄYZ[�TL[�
