The purpose: to display the
many facets of technology,

Tijuana to the world while
injecting an element of
Civic Pride into Tijuana.

a14 day conference
Speakers included Former Vice-
President Al Gore (upper left), Carlos
Slim (upper right), Jimmy Wales & Biz
Stone (center), Astronaut Jose
Hernandez (left), Tetsuo “Ted” Agata,
Sr. Director for Toyota, Nobel Prize
Winner Dr. Mario Molina, and many

T.I. needed complete Bi-
lingual Media outreach to
maintain interest for an
international audience.
Key facts about Tijuana

needed to be researched &
presented to the Media, &
posted in Twitter/Facebook
feeds.
To facilitate participation
and coverage by Int’l
journalists, coordination of
logistics & agendas were
needed, including

Speakers, Tijuana Civic and

maintain coverage in English &
Spanish. Live Twitter feeds for
keynote speakers were constant, and
shared onto Facebook.
Facts about Tijuana were twittered
in accordance with speaker themes.
WordPress blogs were created daily.

journalists & scheduled key speaker
interviews in order to promote the 14
day civic event.
Result: T.I. conference was a huge
success! The Int’l media covered the
event and was given a positive and
refreshing view of Tijuana.
