School Council Meeting
Our next meeting is to be held on Wednesday 26th October, commencing
at 8pm. Please note the change of time back to 8pm due to daylight sav-
ings and mark this on your calendar.
Rotating Dinner
Congratulations to the Parents and Friends for raising approximately
$1500.00 from the Rotating Dinner on the 30th September. A huge
thank you to everyone who donated food, drinks and their homes for the
evening.
Kinder Transition Program
Thank you to the two Helens’ who have organised the Kinder Transition
Program for 2016. This will begin on Thursday of this week when the
Prep and One children will walk to the Underbool Early Childhood Centre
for morning tea and a play from 10.15—11.30am. The children are to
bring a piece of fruit to share and a water bottle.
Summer Footwear
As the days begin to get hotter??? and little feet get hot and sweaty, stu-
dents may require to wear some more appropriate footwear. While shoes
need to be cooler they also need to provide sufficient
foot support. Appropriate shoes will keep their feet
safe in the school yard while running around during
playtime and lunch time and also
during PE and Sport. Sandals need
to have as many straps as possible
so as to provide good coverage of
the feet. Mesh type “sketches
breathe” or something similar may
be a good alternative as they are both cool and protec-
tive at the same time. Any concerns or questions please
come and ask.
