Homestead, purchased by Dennis Schilling, wouldbe restored and reopened? And the giant gathering

of students June 5 for a “Group Hug” in front of the 1904log landmark? And the many scenes of Dennis and crewworking hands-on to bring it back? This inspiring spiritbrings us to the 2015 Champagne Gala Brunch.

As we celebrate the 31st anniversary of the SouthwestSeattle Historical Society and the generosity that hasallowed us to have such a deep impact on children andpeople of all ages, we are thrilled to have so many dearfriends and generous supporters here today.

Fred Northup, Jr., who lives with his family nearWest Seattle’s Lincoln Park, is one of the PacificNorthwest’s busiest entertainers: as an auctioneer,host, emcee, actor, comedy improviser and musician.

◆ For 10 years, Fredappeared on stage asa company member ofSeattle’s famedTheatreSports comedyimprov group.

◆ He travels thecountry auctioneeringand emceeing and hasentertained thousandsat major events forStarbucks, Microsoft,Boeing, Amazon.comand Expedia andcountless nonprofits,including the FredHutchinson Cancer Research Center, the Museum ofHistory & Industry and the Museum of Flight.
