ADULT CHILDREN DIY Fishing-Lures* Wed., March 4, 2 - 3 p.m. Upcycle a bottle cap to make your own fishing lure for your next outdoor adventure!

Constellation Keychains* Wed., March 18, 2 - 3 p.m. Create a wooden keychain with your favorite constellation using piercing tools and jewelry pliers. Shine a flashlight through the keychain to project the constellation on the wall or ground.

Myths and Pizza* Wed., March 11, 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. Take turns reading a classic myth together around the table, while enjoying a pizza meal!

Under the Sea Lantern* Wed., March 25, 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. Make a magical gradient lantern, with an under the sea silhouette!

Family Storytime Mondays, 11 a.m. - noon Young children with a favorite adult experience new stories through books, flannel boards, puppets, songs, activities, and crafts. For all ages.

Toddler Time Tuesdays, 11 - 11:30 a.m. Participate in nursery rhymes, music, movement, and listen to a few short books. For ages 1 - 2.

Story Behind the Switch* Mon., March 2, 2 - 3 p.m. Learn how electricity is made and gets from the power plant to your home with a plasma ball, a Van de Graaf generator, and more! Presented by Tri-State Generation & Transition Association, Inc. and Mountain View Electric Association. For ages 5 - 12.

Kids Make: Paint with Household Items* Mon., March 9, 2 - 3 p.m. Join us to explore shapes and patterns that you can create using a variety of common household items to paint with! For ages 5 - 12.

STEM: Zany Zip Lines* Mon., March 16, 2 - 3 p.m. Learn about the science behind zip lines and then create a device to carry a ping pong ball or small toy animal along a zip line. For ages 5 - 12.

Spring Break: Puppets and Things on Strings* Tue., March 24, 3 - 4 p.m. Mark Hellerstein presents a program of laughs, music, audience participation with silly hand puppets, and a full-stage marionette show of Jack and the Beanstalk. For all ages.

Homeschool @ Calhan: Mind-Bending Math* Tue., March 31, 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Homeschoolers will use their math skills, logic, and strategy during this fun and fast-paced arithmetic-based activity! Kids will practice basic math skills to solve riddles and learn a cool dice game.

Stay and Play Saturdays, 3 - 4 p.m. Join us for open-ended play! We’ll have fun toys to enhance your child’s early literacy. Meet new friends!

Tween Twist: Dragon Eggs* Mon., March 23, 2 - 3 p.m. Make your very own jeweled dragon eggs with push pins and Styrofoam. Keep them warm and they just might hatch! For ages 9 - 12.

Marvel Fandom Day Tue., March 3, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. Come hang out while we watch, Avengers: Endgame, talk Marvel, and create Marvel crafts! Snacks will be provided. (PG-13, 183 min.)

Teens Make: T-Shirt Bags/Cloth Napkins* Tue., March 17, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. Celebrate Earth Month by up-cycling an old t-shirt into a tote bag. T-shirts will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. Also, start earth friendly habits by sewing your own set of reversible cloth napkins!
