Experimental Probability
1) A softball player got a hit in 20 of her last 50 times at bat. What is the experimental probability that she will get a hit in her next at bat?
The probability of an event is a number between 0 and 1 (or a percent between 0% and 100%),unless the event is impossible = 0 (or 0%) OR the event is certain = 1 (or 100%).
Sample Space: the set of all possible outcomes to an experiment or activity.
Equally likely outcomes: each outcome in a sample space has the same chance of occurring.
