10th Advanced Paediatric Oncology Course (APOC 10) MAY 15-19 2017 AIMS AND OBJECTIVES The Advanced Paediatric Oncology Course (APOC) is a 5-day residential course taught by an international faculty of Paediatric Oncologists and Scientists Since its inception by Dr Jon Pritchard over 20 years ago, the Advanced Paediatric Oncology Course (APOC) has sought to integrate new and emerging knowledge into the advanced care of children and young people with cancer. In 2017 APOC 10 will focus on understanding how the unique biology of childhood cancer is informing the development of novel approaches to treatment, especially precision medicine, immunotherapy and targeted therapies. The program includes a special symposium of paediatric Oncology in Developing Countries (PODC) The lecture based program is reinforced by facilitated discussion and clinical case presentations. Target Audience Paediatric Oncology Fellows, Paediatric Oncologists, Shared Care Paediatricians, Advance Nurse Practitioners Endorsements This course is approved by the RCPCH for 20 CPD Credits. The course is endorsed by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and American Academy of Paediatrics (Haematology /Oncology). Venue

Bear right into Jeffrey Street past Jury's Hotel to the junction (traffic lights) with the High Street. Cross the High Street into St Mary's Street (continuation of Jeffrey Street) and the training centre is down the hill on the left (situated between Slanji and the Russian Shop).
