AFFORDABLESave time and money. Complete the program for less than $10,000 (2019-2020 tuition for 100% online programs is $326.36/credit). No commuting expenses such as gas or parking. 60 credits are transferred in from your AD RN program and 30 credits are awarded for RN licensure.

FLEXIBLE – 100% ONLINEOur individualized 30-credit program is designed for the working RN and is fully online. You can attend part time or full time and are not locked into a cohort format. Take just one course at a time, or up to four courses per semester. The program may be completed in just one year with full-time enrollment. We offer eight and 16-week sections fall and spring semesters, as well as offer all courses every term including summer. No mandatory login times- do your schoolwork around work and family time. We admit for fall, spring and summer semesters. Students enrolled in the RN Baccalaureate Completion Program develop individualized plans of study to meet their unique needs.

RN Baccalaureate Completion Nursing Program

PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONThis program is for students who are licensed registered nurses and wish to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Upon completion, students will earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and will be eligible for their Public Health Nurse Certifi cation through the Minnesota State Board of Nursing. Our family-focused curriculum helps students understand how to provide the best possible care to individuals, families and the community.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS» Admission into Minnesota State University Mankato» Unrestricted RN License by start of program» Completion of at least 30 college semester credits» Minimum career grade point average (GPA) of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale (may appeal)» Minimum grade of C in all previous nursing courses

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTSA total of 120 semester credits are necessary for the baccalaureate degree in nursing, including transfer credits and 30 RN Option Credits granted for RN Licensure. These 30 RN Option credits are used to complete the upper division level requirement for graduation. There are 30 required major common core credits in the RN-BS Nursing program (listed above). Further, Minnesota State University, Mankato requires completion of General Education credits (Goal Areas 1-10) for all baccalaureate degree graduates. Only an offi cial evaluation of credit will determine the requirements you have remaining.
