Focus on the business need

Ensure the project is aligned to business priorities and get agreement on the benefitsexpected

Prioritisation is essential for working to fixed timescales –apply to tasks, requirements, testing, acceptance criteria

Focus on quality

Ensure the solution is fit for purpose – it meets the acceptance criteria and does what it needs to do, no more, no less

Treat timely delivery as critical to success. Keep focused on business priorities and resolve issues quickly to maintain momentum
