1. Post an interesting fact. For a blog or article, write astatus update that highlights the most catching line. Itstirs the interest of readers and encourages them toclick the URL link.

2. Share a tip. A tip in a status update has to start withthe word “TIP!” It ensures the status update will benoticeable in the newsfeeds of fans and followers. Itapplies to all kinds of status updates.

3. Endorse content. Do not shy away from endorsing orcommending the status update of other users. Throw inan adjective whenever applicable because it changesthe way users react to a post.

4. Don’t always ask a question. It is not mandatory to ask the thoughts of fans and followers through a status update. Continue to share great content, even without feedback from fans. It will come.

10. Ask users to comment. This infringes on Tip 4 but you may ask users to comment every now and then. A comment has a higher EdgeRank score than a like.
