All college bound students need at least 2 years of a foreign language to enter a Georgia College or University.

Taking a 3rd and 4th year is how colleges will determine if your application will be given additional consideration. UGA, Georgia Tech, Emory require 3+ years and most upper tier universities recommend or require 4 years.
