Chinzombo is situated in 24 hectares of private Luangwa River frontage, in the South Luangwa National Park. Nestled within the shade of ancient trees on a wildlife rich ridge, this bush camp brings levels of comfort, style and elegance previously unseen in the Luangwa Valley. 6 Chinzombo villas (1 is suitable for a family of 5) appear to float over the landscape. The design is original but simple and makes use of steel, natural materials, locally produced leather, reed work and canvas. The lack of concrete or brick and the recycled composite timber floors complement the wilderness perfectly, melting into exquisite surroundings. Villas boast spacious living areas, luxurious bathrooms, private plunge pools and shady decks overlooking the Luangwa. A winding foot path connects the villas to the lounge, dining, bar and fire pit area. Although super-luxurious, this exclusive camp retains its bush feel. Décor is simple and minimal, a respectful nod to Chinzombo’s past history and to the legacy of Norman Carr, pioneer of the South Luangwa safari experience.

Chinzombo has private, direct boat access into one of the most game-rich areas of the South Luangwa National Park. This, combined with some of the parks legendary guides, makes Chinzombo the perfect place from which to explore the wilds of the Luangwa all year round whether on foot, on the river (during the emerald season), or in a vehicle.

An intimate property with a comfortable, relaxed ambiance, Amanzi is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, within the secluded far eastern end of the Lower Zambezi National Park. Natural woods, neutral hues and richly coloured rugs give this luxurious bush camp its charm. The appealing open-sided construction maximises the beautiful setting and rooms have an airy, bright and close-to-nature allure. 4 attractive canvas suites are raised on wooden platforms, have sitting rooms and private decks. 2 are inter-leading and suitable for families. Main areas are reached via a walkway and consist of comfortable spaces for socialising and savouring delicious meals. Game drive through the national park, or enjoy boating safaris and canoeing on the river. Game walks and seasonal catch and release fishing are also available.
