Ra• The sun god, resembling life, death and rebirth and later

became a symbol for the annual floods and a solar calendar.

Horus• Horus was a hawk headed god, known as the god of war, but

he was also known as the god of kings and was one of the earliest deitites

Osiris • Osiris is the god of vegetation and he was also killed by his

brother Set(h) but revived by his sister (wife) Isis to become the guardian of the underworld and had final judgment of who passed on to the land of the blessed. Osiris was given a green head because he is the god of vegetation.

Isis• The wife and sister of Osiris. Her and her sister (Nephythys)

saved her husband out of a box his brother Set(h) trapped him in and then later when set(h) sliced him into 100 pieces Isis and her sister collected them all and revived him.

Nut• Nut was the Egyptian god of the sky. In Egypt Nut’s body

makes up the sky and she is depicted standing on her hands and feet over Geb, her husband.

Thoth• Thoth was the Ibis headed god of wisdom and writing. He was

pictured with the head of a crane as Egyptians believed cranes to be extremely Intellegint.

Black and white

Anubis• Anubis was the Jackal headed god of the Underworld. He

weighed your heart against the feather of truth and if your heart was heavier than the feather, he fed your soul to Ammut and you would live no afterlife.

Geb• Geb is the god of the Earth. Basically planet earth in Egyptian

belief is just Geb’s entire body. Geb’s wife is Nut the goddess of the sky.

Ma’at• Ma’at is a time of perfect harmony and peace but it is also a

winged god. She was the god of Order and Truth. She regulated the cycle of the stars, seasons and actions of both animals and humans.

Set(h)• Seth is the god of Storms, His Homelands the Desert, and of

course Chaos. Seth is the brother of Osiris and he is the person who tried to kill his own brother twice in two brutal ways. He trapped Osiris in a Sarcophagus and he sliced him into thirteen pieces.
