(Heart of the one who worships during the night of Eid-ul-Fitr and Adha does not darken in the day of which the hearts get darkened. [Taberani]

The gates of [Allah’s] Compassion are opened onfour nights. Prayers or istighfars done on these nights willnot be refused. The first nights of the ’Iyd of Fitr andAdha (Qurban), the fifteenth night of Sha’ban [Barat] and ArafaNight. [Isfahani]

A hadith-i-sharif declares: “The worst of misers is the one who does notperform the sacrifice [though it is wajib for him to perform thequrban].”
