•Consider formation of a national peak Rotary body to deal with media, governments, corporations, NGOs etc., and to administer a national marketing plan.•Consider holding an Australian Rotary Conference, perhaps at 2-3 year intervals, to allow Rotarians to discuss appropriate themes.
