Working with community organisations
We involve community and voluntary organisations through:
•Our work with the Healthwatch Network
•Our online community and planning groups
•The SpeakOut network – a national network of groups who work with less listened to communities who advise on policy and run activities prior to inspections
Community groups can also:
•Tell us about the experiences of people who use services – good and bad
•Look out for CQC ‘listening events’ which we hold prior to some major inspections
•Encourage members of the community to feed in their experiences of care at: www.cqc.org.uk/shareyourexperience
