To the right is the Strauss® Free Raised® logo mark. It is the
principal mark that represents the brand. It should be used
to represent the brand to all audiences.
The logo mark is always used in full color.
“From American Pastures” is to be used on all packaging
that has product inside, but is not essential on
applications where it does not encompass product.

For maximum impact, a set minimum space should separate
the Strauss® Free Raised® logo mark from all other graphic and typographic elements. This area
forms an invisible frame around the logo mark.
The minimum space around the logo mark is based on the
height of the “S” within the shield. The logo mark should
have a consistent minimum space of the “S” height
on all four sides.
Please note that the minimum size requirement for the logo
mark is one inch tall.

To the right is the Strauss® Free Raised® shield.
It may be used when the logo mark in full color application is not available or as a secondary
brand identification.

The Strauss® Free Raised® shield may be applied in the specific
brand color or black and white.
To the right is a chart of the approved color appearances
for the shield.
The shield may be printed in Strauss® Brown (process
color or special mix ink) or black. Please see the
Brand Color Palette section for specifications.

The Free Raised® brand image is used with the Strauss® Free Raised® logo mark or shield.
The logo mark must always be placed in the sky area as it fades
to white to allow the blades of grass to be seen.
The shield may be used within in the blue sky area or
on the horizon line.
*Please note: Strauss® Free Raised® Shield does not have a
white rule around it.

The Strauss® Free Raised® tag line embodies the
brand promise.
“This simple statement defines our commitment to raising cattle in a compassionate and natural manner – free to roam on open
pastures, never administered antibiotics or hormones, whiles
receiving a nature-intended diet.
All our cattle are raised by America’s great independent
family farmers.”
The tag line may be used as a headline for advertising,
promotions and in packaging.
Use the tag line art as shown; do not substitute with another font outside of the font family.
It may be used as a single line or two lines stacked. It
must always appear with the trademark symbol.

Shown to the right are examples of the Strauss® Free Raised®
logo mark and tag line in use.
The advertising example shows the logo mark and brand image
as the main visual with the Free Raised® tag line used as a
headline reversed out of Strauss® Brown.
The packaging examples show the Strauss® Free Raised® logo mark on the brand image and
on a white background.

A consistent type style is important in building
recognizability and establishing an identity.
The Bliss, ITC Slimbach and Ministry Script font
families have been chosen to complement the Strauss® logo mark.
These fonts should be used for all packaging,
advertising, collateral and printed communications.
