1 Peter 2 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises that ye should shew forth the praises of Himof Him (excellence; virtue) Who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light:

Examine your words; are they helpful or hurtful?

Are your words meant to bless, or do you sometimessometimes use words as weapons?

We should not speak discouragingdiscouraging words,

cuttingcutting, hurtfulhurtful words, doubtfuldoubtful words, uglyugly words,

words of complaintcomplaint, nor of grumblinggrumbling.

Evil is anything contrary to the Nature of GodEvil is anything contrary to the Nature of God.

ImpatienceImpatience, irritabilityirritability, harshnessharshness, meannessmeanness,

Anything hatefulhateful, that steals peace and joy.

Even a silencesilence can be hateful.

Doubt and fearDoubt and fear,, pridepride -- going our own wayown way,

Lack of disciplineLack of discipline which alwaysalways leads to excess.

Psalms 37 3 TrustTrust in the Lord, and do gooddo good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. 4 Delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
