For the purpose of this presentation, I have no choice but to do so in some instances, for clarity sake – I have to differentiate between and the god of

Islam

This is imperative because they are not the same…the listener/viewer must realize that difference

The propaganda distributed by this organization uses his name liberally and repeatedly, and refers to him as “The one true God (sic)”

I will refer to the god of Islam through the acronym tgoi (“the god of Islam”)

Disclaimer and My Position

• Matthew 28 gives us the Great Commission. I understand completely that my job in being a witness for Messiah is to do so to the whole world, including Muslims (actually, especially Muslims as I believe they will be the source of the greatest deception mankind has ever seen)• However, to do so in a false manner, such as teaching about “another Jesus” as forewarned by Paul, is not acceptable, and as a part of the Great Commission, I feel compelled to sound the alarm

This teaching is that alarm!

• This is a quote from the Website:

“Jesus (sic) in the Qur'an exists to help Christians and Muslims alike engage in

effective, Biblical relationships of peace.”

• The problem with this statement is found in Sura 5:51 (and others)


• Sura 5:51 is presented below:

“O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: they are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Surely, tgoi guides not a people unjust.”

• I have no doubt that there are many Muslims who would agree with this teaching, and who believe that Islam is a religion of peace – just as there are many “Christians” who do not read/understand their Bible, but are content with what they are fed in church

• I beg you to be like the Bereans* and search the scriptures (and even search the unholy Qur’an) to find that statements made here are true. Prove this to yourself

Muslims Pray Five Times a Day, They Must be Good

• The direction Muslims face for prayer to tgoi is called Qibla – toward the Kaaba in Mecca

• During the presentation, the speaker remarked that a “good Muslim” prays Sura 1, 18 times a day– It made me wonder what a “bad Muslim” does

during the day

• Then the speaker prayed Sura 1, aloud, using the name “God” where it says tgoi

• In this passage, there is a reference to the “straight path” – several Bible verses were used to support this straight path


This was the opening page to thepropaganda book they handed out at the conference. Before the show began, I started taking notes…

Sura 5:51 – “O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: they are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Surely, tgoi guides not a people unjust.”

2nd Corinthians 6:14 – “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”


Let’s Get Started• The very title of this seminar and Website is

deceptive because of the name game• Jesus is the Son of and is at this moment sitting

at His right hand awaiting the order to fulfill Elohim’s command to take that which He has paid for (Tetelestai!)

• Isa (in the Qur’an) is NOT the son of God (he is not even the son of tgoi) and is NOT the one who they believe will return and fulfill Elohim’s plan– The Mahdi is the one who will be set up in a messianic reign– Isa will return to destroy Jews and Christians


Let’s Get Started• Early in this literature provided, they set, among other

thoughts, this foundation– Doctrine

• The Bible is the inerrant Word of God

• They also gave out Qur’ans to the attendees– Opening the Qur’an to page x (Roman numeral 10), it says: When

you read the Qur’an, you will repeatedly find it stated that it is the word of God. Apparently this is a plain fact. But when seen in context, it is an extraordinary statement. There are many books in the world which are believed to be sacred. But, except for the Qur’an, we do not find any religious book which thus projects itself as the word of God.” (sic)

• In their handout, they refer to the Qur’an as “The final revelation of God in Arabic to the Arabian peoples” (sic)– Would you believe that not a one of the speakers

was Arabic?


It All Hinges on Ishmael (not)• The speaker quoted from the Bible, Genesis 16:7-13• Take a moment to read those verses, and see if you

can determine the verses the speaker did not mention

• He then quoted from Genesis 17:18-20– Verse 19 says “Then God said, “Yes, but your wife Sarah

will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.”

It All Hinges on Ishmael (not)• There are 2 problems here:

1. Every other Bible translation has the word “No” in that place (except the NIV (quoted here), the Hebrew Interlinear, and New International Reader’s Version), or it isn’t even addressed (the same as saying no)

2. The reason these verses were quoted was to show the importance of Ishmael’s descendants in Elohim’s plan, but keep reading, and it is ALL about Isaac, and therefore, the nation Israel

• The Arab claim to the land of Israel rests entirely on three false assumptions:

• All Arabs are the descendants of Abraham through Ishmael• Ishmael and his descendants were included in the covenant God made with Abraham• Since the Abrahamic covenant included the land of Israel, the Arabs have a legitimate claim to it



• Torah:• Abraham moved to Israel• He dwelled in tents• made His covenant with him there• He fathered Ishmael, Isaac, and others there• Isaac was the only son chosen by to be the heir of the covenant• Abraham took Isaac to Mt. Moriah to be offered



• Qur’an:• According to Sura 2:119-121, Abraham and Ishmael did not dwell in tents in Israel but in the city of Mecca in Arabia• Together they rebuilt the Ka’bah and placed the black stone in the wall• It was Abraham who started the tradition of an annual pilgrimage to Mecca, throwing stones at the devil, etc.•Abraham took Ishmael (not Isaac) to nearby Mt. Mina to offer as a sacrifice to God



• The Ishmaelites are mentioned as a distinct tribe in the Assyrian records

• They later intermarried with and were absorbed by the Midianites and other local tribes• In Genesis 37:25-28; 39:1, the Ishmaelites are called the Midianites and in Judges 8:22-24, the Midianites are called the Ishmaelites• The identification cannot be made any stronger and so the idea that the Arabs are descended from Ishmael is false!



• Arabia populated by descendants of Cush and Shem long before Abraham or Ishmael were born (their cities and temples have been well documented by archeologists)• If all the Arab people descended from Ishmael as Mohammed claimed, where did all the original Arabs go?

• What happened to them?• Who did Ishmael marry if the Arabs did not already exist?



• If Arabia was unpopulated, who built Mecca?• Since he lived there, obviously it existed before he was born• The facts speak for themselves

• The Abrahamic Covenant was given only to Isaac and to his descendants. Ishmael and the other sons of Abraham were explicitly excluded by from having any part of the covenant made with Abraham

• Nowhere does the Qur’an state that Ishmael is the progenitor of the Arab race. Since it is not taught in the Qur’an, it cannot be a true Islamic belief


Paul

• Quoting Galatians 1:15-17– Key words highlighted?– “…that I might preach him among Gentiles…:– “…but I went away in Arabia…”– The speaker said this alluded to the fact that Paul,

a Jew who had accepted Yeshua, had an obligation to Ishmael


Messiah• Using the story of the woman at the well (John 4:5-

42), they paint their message to Muslims as correct by using His actions as an example:– He initiates the conversation (v.7)– He crossed cultural boundaries (v.9)– He swiftly moved into a spiritual conversation (v.10)– He used Samaritan writings (?) (v.13-14)– He recognized her point of need (v.17)– He moved above religion (v.20)– He pointed her to Himself (v.25-26)


Messiah• Did Messiah do anything wrong in this story?

– Of course not!• Are the speakers twisting scripture?

– Of course not!• Is this permission for us to do the same?

– Of course!• Are they doing the same?

– NO! – And therein lies the difference, and the deception

• The Bible and the Quran present two vastly different ways to obtain forgiveness - the primary difference is in the personality of the deity who is doing the forgiving– The God of the Bible is a stable, gracious, loving, personal God

who delights in being involved with His creation. Those who come to Him, He receives as dear children into the family of God. They are freely forgiven their transgressions and personally nurtured by the Holy Spirit as they strive to please their loving heavenly Father

• tgoi, on the other hand, is capricious and aloof, refusing to even admit to being a spirit, much less considering being born as a man to redeem his creatures– One Mistake Cancels All Good That's Done – he demands good works to get his forgiveness, and to keep it, one

must follow elaborate rituals and rules of living. But one mistake can cancel out all the good you have accumulated up to that point

– And the Muslim is never really sure he has measured up and will go to paradise

to God and to be grateful to God for His provision lest they suffer God’s coming judgment.”– Where in the Qur’an does it state that he worshipped God?

• “There are two key issues that have caused me to love and respect the Prophet Muhammad: 1) He deeply respected the Bible and told his followers that the Old and New Testament scriptures were the Word of God. And 2) He loved Jesus the Messiah and honored him in the Qur’an.”– Does he mean that Muhammad told his followers that the

scriptures were the word of tgoi? How could he love Jesus the Messiah and preach another god? And where is Jesus in the Qur’an?



• “I love and respect my new Muslim friends and embrace them as my brothers and sisters who worship the same God.”– 2nd Corinthians 6:14: Be ye not unequally yoked together with

unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

– Qur’an 5:51 - O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for friends. They are friends one to another. He among you who taketh them for friends is (one) of them. Lo! Tgoi guideth not wrongdoing folk.

– Qur’an 60:13 - O ye who believe! Be not friendly with a folk with whom tgoi is wroth, (a folk) who have despaired of the Hereafter as the disbelievers despair of those who are in the graves.



• “I love going to the mosque when I can and I have made the reading of the Qur’an a part of my regular life routine... (names removed) have become like dear brothers to me.” (but I will say that the first name of one of them was Jihad, and that made me laugh)

• “I have a deep respect for the Qur’an and the character of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)”



• The jesus in the Qur’an, assuming he is the representative of tgoi, wants you to die for him…
