ARENA SESSIONS KEYNOTE SPEAKER GINNY TELEGO

How to Master the Art of Trusting the Process Sometimes our passion can interfere with the client’s experience with the horses. To ensure that the horses can do their amazing work and our clients can gain the most from the experience, we, as facilitators need to recognize “WHY” we may feel a need to ‘Step In” during an exercise with a horse. We also need to identify when we may be “leading” clients in a debriefing to meet an agenda as opposed to what the client’s needs are. Ginny will teach us to recognize how our beliefs can impact or might impede the client's experience and learn to trust the horses and the EAL process.

Ginny Telego has a bachelor's degree in Organizational Management and is a Certified Advanced Practitioner and Master Trainer with the Equine Experiential Education Association (E3A). She was certified as an EAGALA Level 1 Certified Equine Specialist and a Certified Riding Instructor with the American Riding Instructor Association. She has management experience in many diverse environments and is committed to creating programs that maximize the experience for the horses and participants. In addition to her work at Wager's Way, Ginny serves part-time as the Executive Director of Leadership Ashland, a premier community leadership development program. She recently completed two terms as the President of the Board of Directors for the Equine Experiential Education Association and is a former board member for the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Ashland County. She is a graduate of the Leadership Ashland class of 2013. To learn more about Ginny go to www.wagersway.com TAMMY MARSH
