secondary schools (4.00 = “A”).• Transfer students must have a 2.50 or higher GPA from their

Language ProficiencySuccess at ASU begins with a strong comprehension of the English language. Because our rigorous courses are taught in English and move at a fast pace, fluency in the language is necessary for understanding concepts and expressing yourself effectively. Conditional AdmissionASU may offer conditional undergraduate admission to applicants who meet the academic requirements but not the English proficiency requirement. GraduateAdmission RequirementsMinimum Academic RequirementsBachelor’s degree: Applicants must have a U.S. bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution or the equivalent from an officially recognized institution.

Indicates an accelerated 4+1 degree program. ASU offers a streamlined path to a master’s degree from ASU undergraduate programs, reducing the time to get a master’s degree from two years to one year.

Indicates a concurrent degree program. ASU offers high-achieving graduate students the opportunity to complete two distinct but complementary graduate degrees at the same time.

A two-year program is for applicants who have completed a four-year undergraduate degree in the same discipline as the graduate program. A 3+ program is for applicants with an undergraduate degree in a discipline different than the graduate program.
