1) Here we have an interesting evolutionary issue 2) Because the advantages of scientific breakthroughs (by ca 1% of the population can b used by essentially everyone to survive I hypothesise that there is today, for the first time in human, history essentially no evolutionary mechanism to improve the intellectual capability of the human race. 3) Up till ca 1940 the majority of people on the planet needed common sense to survive. They had to prepare for the winter, the farmer had to experiment and understand crop rotation, they had to utwit anias to get food etc etc. Now Super markets, McDonalds, efficient cars, mobile phones etc make survival essentially a ubiquitous phenomenon with no need to understan anything…such as for The End of Human Evolution?

They had to prepare for the winter, the farmer had to experiment and understand crop rotation, they had to utwit anias to get food etc etc. Now Super markets, McDonalds, efficient cars, mobile phones etc make survival essentially a ubiquitous phenomenon with no need to understan anything…such as for instns how a car works

The End of Human Evolution?

This may be one explantion of the fact that the US has the highest % of inhabitants in the developed world still beliving in mythical storiesAnd need not understand the technology they use

When I was a kid I wanted a radio and I had to make it myself and in so doing learned how it worked

In 1900 if you wanted a car you had to make it

In generaal the late 20th Centurty inhabitant fof the western world full of mass produced food supermarkesy mobile phones television sets etcNeeds not even common sense to survive

Thus I hypothesise that the human race is now in an inteectual cul-de-sac from an evolutionary pint of view

Mass production has chanded all this

When I was a kid I wanted a radio and I had to make it myself and in so doing learned how it works

In 1900 if you wanted a car you had to make it

Even in 1960’s the car was much less reliable than today and I vould no afford to take it to a garage to fix it but I had to fix it myself and we learn by fixing things

Mass production has chanded all this

Today all the average person need to do is sit doing an undemanding job go to the supernakret for a TV Dinner or McDonalds for a chelaer meal than they can make themselves

The separation of duties which I undertsnd is a rare phenomenon in the animal world (ants and bees do it I think) but it has been extremely valuable for survival but it may be a disaster for the devlopment of improved intellectual ability

This is because the modern world of SET is the contribution of the brain poawe of only 1% of the poplutraion which bases it’s creative dynamics on almost completely on doubt

The exploitation of these advnaces is however open to all and in particalur used synegristically by cohorts for which acceptance of authorty to achieve the aims of leaders on the basis od dogma
