• God accepted the temple as a house of sacrifice for as long as they:– Humbled themselves, and pray– Seek God and turn from wicked ways– Then, He will hear them, forgive them,
and will heal their land– Solomon must walk like his father and
keep God’s commandments

• The Queen -– Brought spices, gold, and precious
stones to Solomon– Tested Solomon’s wisdom– In awe of Solomon’s wealth and

7:3-4– God appeared to him twice– Received warnings from his father, David

His death ends another period of Bible history.
