Chapel Hill Man to Join Campus Ministry at Wake

The Rev. David L Fouche, 29, will join the Wake Forest University campus ministry on Aug. 1 as assistant chaplain/ Baptist campus minister.
He comes here from Chapel Hill, where he bas been working for two years. His appointment was approved last week by the executive committee of the General Board of the Baptist State Convention.
A native of Greenville. S. C., Fouche (pronounced Fou-shay) received a B. A. degree in history in 1974 from Furman University. He received a master of divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary at Wake Forest in 1981.
While at Furman, he said in au interview, he was president of the Baptist Student Union and became good friends with the university cba lains. He also assisted in

Christman said the campusministry staff wUl be located in Wingate Hall witb him this fall, now that the school's music department bas moved from Wingate into its new wing at the Scales Fine Arts Center.

Christman said it will be nice once again to have the ministry located under the same roof witb the chaplain's office and Wake, Forest Baptist Church.
