The boys basketball team came out with a win against Quapaw for Districts. The final score was 47 - 46 Commerce. The Tigers went into Regionals without any losses only to face the number eleven seeded Ok-taha in the winner’s bracket. The Tigers suffered their first loss to Oktaha with a final score of 79 - 21. Their next games from there on out would be elimination games. They played the Ketchum Warriors for their first game in the loser’s bracket. The Tigers came out on top with a win of 48 - 45. Their next opponent was Fairland. The winner of the game was to go on to Area. Sadly, the Fairland Owls came out on top to eliminate the Tigers with a win of 39 - 35.

The Commerce Lady Tigers had four girls receive honors at the annual All-star game this year. Courtney Watson and Jacey Knight were named All-Conference while Mandy Watson and Taylor Stevenson were named All-stars.

The Commerce Tigers had two boys receive honors as well. Kyler Ng was named All-Conference while Luis Arizpe was named an All-Star.

Lady Tiger Track The Lady Tiger track team is starting off the season with eighteen girls. Coach Sharp is glad to have so many girls tout for track this year. He thinks the Lady Tigers will have a lot more chances to bring home metals. The Lady Tigers first track meet is Thursday, April 1, at Galena.

Lady Tiger Basketball The Lady Tigers ended the season with a record of 17-8. The Lady

Tigers played the Quapaw Wildcats for districts and lost giving the Lady Tigers one loss going into Regional play. The Lady Tigers played Warner for their opening game in Regionals. The girls won, allowing them to play Hulbert for the second round. The Lady Tigers won advancing them to the Regional finals where they faced off with the Lady Wildcats one more time. The Lady Tigers lost, ending their season.

Alice In Wonderland 3-D Alice in Wonderland is a 2010 fantasy adventure film directed by Tim Bur-ton, written by Linda Woolverton, and stars Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Crispin Glover, Michael Sheen and Stephen Fry. CHS SOCCER Commerce High School has started its first soccer sea-son. Taylor Stevenson scored the first goal for the girls against Miami. They are working hard and having a great time. The boys have one won game so far this season against Miami JV. Both soccer teams are coached by Chris Neal.
