Training & Education Strategic Plan
Integrate Public Safety Training - Create a unified system that integrates all public safety T&E stakeholders toward a common mission. Decentralized delivery of the T&E system would continue to utilize
the community colleges & fire depts, particularly those designated as Accredited Regional & Local Academies.
Establish an all risk California Public Safety Institute (an equivalent of the National Emergency Training Center).
This would be the state of the art facility that would foster public safety research & development, as well as training & education. Ideally, the institute would be established at a university campus that would provide or support baccalaureate, master, & doctoral level education.
