Multi-sensor Aerospace-ground Joint ISR Interoperability Coalition (MAJIIC)
Ongoing Efforts
MAJIIC is a multinational effort to maximize the sharing of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems and data through the development of operational and technical solutions for interoperability. The approach is based on standards and the harmonization of metadata across enterprises.
Address interoperability from 3 primary perspectives:
• Operational - Development and demonstration of concepts of employment (CONEMP) and tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP)
• Architectural - Development of procedures and technology for sharing ISR data and information
• Technical - Definition and development of keydata formats and protocols for the various sensor anddata types
