"I MUST REMOVE AND SACRIFICE SOME THINGS IN MY LIFE TO SHOW HOW MUCH I LOVE TO INVOLVE." VOLUME 22 • ISSUE 39 • SEPTEMBER 30 PASSION FOR INVOLVEMENT Passion for involvement has been our theme for this month and I hope that this encouraged us to be more involved and committed in our involvement in God’s work. Indeed, when there is real commitment, much can be accomplished. It is always evi- dent that anyone who is committed in whatever he/she does, and desires to put in more than what is expected can fully contribute to the advancement of God’s kingdom. What we truly need in the ministry are people who are passionate to do something for God because they love Him. Next week is already the last quarter of the year. I challenge all of us to give our best involvement as we slowly close this year. “Resolved to Involve” must still be our desire. With our weekly activities, our upcoming Missions Conference and our daily routine, let us follow the Holy Spirit’s leading in our families while we involve in God’s work. Together, let us enjoy this Sunday in allowing God’s Word to speak to us, enabling us to be blessed, revived and determined to put what we hear to action! DR. ED M. LAURENA

Passion for involvement has been our theme for this month and I hope that this encouraged us to be more involved and committed in our involvement in God’s work. Indeed, when there is real commitment, much can be accomplished. Next week is already the last quarter of the year. I challenge all of us to give our best involvement as we slowly close this year. “Resolved to Involve” must still be our desire. To Our Pastor's WifeWhen we thank God for our pastorWe must give Him thanks for two,For when your husband came to us,God also sent us you. A pastor's wife must be many things,You have many hats to wear; And we say thanks for all you doAnd lift you up in prayer. You adjust your life to meet the needsOf your husband's congregation,And it seems that you can always copeWith most any situation. Your presence blesses all of usWho know you from day to day.As our pastor's wife, you are serving GodIn a fine and worthy way.

Happy Birthday Ma'am Dhel September 27

Acts 6:8 “And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.”

“We must always move forward in the power of the Holy Spirit.” Such was emphasized by Dr. Paul Chappell in his sermon last Sunday evening as he encouraged the congregation to progress in their Christian lives. He also stressed the need for Christians to depend constantly on the Holy Spirit as exemplified in the Ministry, Message and Manner of the servant Stephen in the Book of Acts Chapter 6.

Dr. Paul Chappell, the Pastor of Lancaster Baptist Church, one of the largest Bible-believing independent Baptist Churches in America, together with his team took time to dock in our blessed Church last Sunday afternoon while crossing borders within Asia. Along with him were Bro. Jeremy Whitman, Bro. Ken McCoy, Bro. Nick Lam, Pastor Stephen Chappell, and Dr. Alan Fong. Teeming with a reverent spirit from their mission trips, they gave heartfelt testimonies that inspired us to involve more in our mission endeavors. Truly, the blood of Jesus Christ has removed racial barriers and prejudices and united the brethren in the precious Gospel. There was definitely a glorious feasting on God’s Word and its power of changing lives that night as it brought about salvation to a hundred first time visitors that came. It was also well attended by pastors, preachers, and brethren from fellowshipping missions and churches.

We magnify God on how He has wrought His work that evening in the heart of each listener. May we always be reminded and challenged to move forward in the power of the Holy Spirit.
