Classic Apple Pie Ingredients:1 stick unsalted butter

3 tbsps all-purpose our

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup water

1 store-bought pie crust

1 pkg pie dough

8 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and sliced

Classic Apple Pie  Directions:1. Preheat oven to 425 °F.

2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat; careul not to burn.

3. Stir in our to orm a paste. Add sugars and water, and bring to a boil.

Reduce temperature and let simmer.

4. In the meantime, peel, core and slice apples. Fill pie crust with apples,

overlapping slightly.

5. Roll out pie dough to desired thickness and cut into 1-inch strips.

6. Cover pie with strips o dough into criss-cross pattern.

7. Pour the sugar and butter liquid slowly over the crust.

8. Bake or 15 minutes.

9. Reduce temperature to 350 °F and continue baking or 35 - 45 minutes,

until apples are sot.

 Pumpkin MufnsIngredients:2 cups all-purpose our

2 tsps baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground ginger

1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

1/2 tsp salt

1 can (16 oz.) pumpkin purée

1/3 cup melted butter

1/2 cup evaporated milk or hal-and-hal

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup granulated sugar

Ingredients continued:2 large eggs, beaten

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

1/2 - 3/4 cup chopped pecans

or raisins (optional)

Cream Cheese Filled Pumpkin Mufns

Our Favourite Fall Treat!

 Directions:1. Preheat oven to 375 °F.

2. In a large bowl combine our, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and

salt. Stir to blend.

3. In separate bowl, combine pumpkin, melted butter, milk or hal-and-hal,

eggs, sugars, and vanilla; mix until blended.

4. Stir pumpkin mixture into the dry ingredients until moistened.

5. I desired, old in pecans or raisins. Do not overmix.

Optional: Follow directions or cream cheese flling.

 Assemble Your Muins!1. Line 12-cup mufn tin with paper liners or grease well and dust with our.

2. Fill about 1/2 ull with the pumpkin mufn batter.

3. Place a generous amount o the cream cheese flling into the centre o the

mufn batter.

4. Add more mufn batter to fll the mufn tin to about 3/4 ull.

5. Bake or 20 - 25 minutes. Makes approximately two dozen mufns.

 Pumpkin Chocolate Chip CookiesIngredients:1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature

3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 egg

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose our

1 cup quick oats

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp ground cinnamon1 cup pumpkin purée

1 1/2cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

 Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies Directions:1. Have un!

2. Preheat oven to 350 °F.

3. In a mixing bowl on medium speed, cream butter and sugars together.

Add in vanilla and egg.

4. In a separate bowl, combine our, baking soda, cinnamon and oats. Add in

gradually to cream/butter and mix until well blended. Add pumpkin and

mix well.

5. Remove bowl rom mixer and old in chocolate chips careully. Drop by

tablespoon onto a cookie sheet.

6. Bake 12 - 15 minutes until golden brown. Makes approximately our dozen

cookies.
