The most powerful and effective thing we can do at any time but especially at a time like this when our nation faces so many challenges both here and abroad, is to pray. Would you also pray for the International Students Welcome Dinner we are hosting this Friday, September 6? We want to make them feel welcomed and also let them know about our church and the Korean Church that meets in our Fellowship Hall. We are introducing them to barbeque pork, courtesy of Chef Earl Weber. They will also be introduced to blue grass music. Please pray for connections being made and that they will continue to hear and see the gospel while they are here in San Angelo. Lakan

Join us for our next Spruce Up Day! Saturday, September 14th 8AM-Noon

Join us as we “spruce up” our facilities in preparation for our 60th Anniversary.

Come at 7:45 for donuts and coffee. Stay after noon for pizza.

Help us clean, paint, repair, beautify! Bring paint brushes, rollers, and other tools.

Come join the fun!

What YOU can do to help:

We have as our honored guest speaker, Dr. Paige Patterson, president of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Of course we want to share a generous honorarium with him as well as being sure to have comfortable accommodations for him while he is with us.

We will be serving a church breakfast and also a delicious catered lunch on Sunday, Oct. 13th.

We are advertising our celebration locally and sending invitations by mail to former staff and members who have moved away. All of this does require funding. That is where you come in! If you wish to make a donation to help fund our 60th Anniversary Celebration over and above your regular tithes and offerings, please indicate that it is for “60th Ann.” on your check or envelope.

Please prayerfully consider what the Lord would have you give toward this momentous occasion. There are sign up sheets in the foyer and in your Sunday school rooms so you can register for this occasion.

Given to Date for 60th Anniversary Fund: $1435.00
