Import and Export Switchgear Files Summary
WSOS5 has an Import and Export facility which enables switchgear files to be transferred from one PC to another.
● Exporting a switchgear file is the best way of sending details of a switchgear which is experiencing a problem to someone for analysis.
-Event log and history files should be included.
● Switchgear files received for analysis are automatically upzipped and saved in the Working Directory nominated.
-They can then be opened as a switchgear file in WSOS5.

● The WSOS4 files could be extracted from this .zip file for use with WSOS4 at a later date if required.
● The folder containing the upgraded file can be moved to a Working Directory if required to be opened automatically by WSOS5 on Start Up.
