1 INTRODUCTION

This manual covers the registration and operation of the DSEWebNetSoftwarefor DSE modules.This is not a controlled document. There are no automatic notifications of changes to this manual. Anyfuture updates of this document are included on the DSE website: www.deepseaplc.com

Separate manuals cover the DSE modules supported by the software which can be downloaded fromour website: www.deepseaplc.com

The DSEWebNet Software in conjunction with the DSE890 & DSE891 Gateway Deviceallows theuser to remote monitor and control a wide range of modules via a supported internet browser.

The DSEWebNet Softwaremust only be used by competent, qualified personnel, as operating thesystem may have safety implications on the panel / generating set to which it is fitted.

The information contained in this manual must be read in conjunction with the information containedin the appropriate module documentation.

A separate manual deals with the operation of the DSEGateway (See section entitled Bibliography

elsewhere in this document).

Launch a compatible internet browser and navigate to the website: www.dsewebnet.comto accessthe DSEWebNet Software.

3.1 REGISTERING AN ACCOUNT

3.1.1 ACCOUNT TYPES AND USES

3.1.1.1 USER ACCOUNT

A User Accountis a quick and simple way for a single user to start and take control of DSE devicesremotely.

A User Accountis best suited to those who:

Only have a small number of DSE devices to monitor

Do not require all the additional features of the Organisation Account

Needs to be registered under an Organisation Accountto restrict their access.

3.1.1.2 ORGANISATION ACCOUNT

An Organisation Accountis a simple way for an organisation or company manager to start and take

control of DSE devices.

An Organisation Accountis best suited to an organisation or company who:

Have a single user who wants to gain additional features.

Have a number of DSE devices to monitor.

Want to create access permissions to limit access for certain User Accountsregistered to theorganisation.

In addition to access permissions, an Organisation Accounthas the ability to use the following

features:

Geofencing

Geotracking Customisable graphical user interface

Configurable module and site names

Username Enter the desired username for the new users account.

3.2 LOGGING IN

NOTE: To log in to the DSEWebNet, a user account is required. To register an account,refer to the section Registering an Accountelsewhere in this document.

Launch a compatible internet browser and navigate to the website: www.dsewebnet.comto accessthe DSEWebNet Software.

To login, type the registered account details into the Account Login section. This is located on the left

hand side of the webpage.

Username Enter the username of the registered account

PasswordNOTE: This field is CASE SENSITIVE

Enter the password of the registered account

Remember login details

NOTE: Enabling this option requires the use of cookies,contact the IT department if in doubt.

= The user has to manually enter the account details every time.= The users account details are remembered on the PC andautomatically entered upon the webpage loading.Forget:Click to forget the remembered username and password.

Reset Password

NOTE: If the password retrieval email is not received, checkthe emails junk or spam email folder.

To retrieve a forgotten or lost password, click the Forgotten password?link. Enter the username of the account and click continue. A newpassword is sent to the registered email address for that account.

3.2.1 MAXIMUM FAILED LOGIN ATTEMPTS EXCEEDED

If the users password is entered incorrectly three times, the account is locked and the password mustbe reset. To reset the users password, click on the Reset Passwordoption in the Account Loginsection located on the left hand side of the webpage. This sends a new password to the registeredemail address for that account. If the reset password email is not received, check the emails junk or

spam email folder.

3.3 CONFIGURING THE SYSTEM

3.3.1 ADDING OR REMOVING A SITE (DSEGATEWAY)

NOTE: To add a DSEGateway to the DSEWebNet, the DSEGateway MUST have been

connected to the configured DSE Controllers and the internet by an Ethernet or GPRS/GSMconnection at least once.

Upon first login, the user is presented with a blank account with no DSEGateway Devices configured.To add or remove a DSEGateway to the account, click on Add or Remove Setlocated on the lefthand side of the webpage. A pop-up box then appears.

To add or remove a DSEGateway to the users account, the Gateway Device IDand Security Code

are required. This information is located in the DSEGateway configuration screens.

If the DSEGateway being added to the user account has not been connected to the internet at least

once, the below error message appears. Check to ensure that the DSEGateway is connected to theinternet

The Gateway Device ID is located under theStatus | Info section of the DSEGateway configuration.

The Security Code is located under the Gateway Setup sectionof the DSEGateway configuration.

3.3.2 ADDING OR REMOVING A DSE CONTROLLER FROM A SITE

NOTE: For more information, refer to DSE publication:057-151 DSE Configuration SuitePC Software Installation & Operation Manual located on our website: www.deepseaplc.com

DSE controllers available to be added to the DSEWebNet are displayed under the Available Setssection. To identify the DSE controller, the DSEWebNet uses the controllers Gen Set ID, USB IDorConfigured DSEWebNet ID depending on what is available.

The DSE controllers Gen Set IDis found using the DSE Configuration Suite PC Software. Refer tothe DSE Controllers Software Manual for further details.

The DSE controllers Configured DSEWebNet Site/Set Alias is found using theAdminsection of theDSEWebNet. Refer to the section entitledAdminelsewhere in this manual for further details.

The DSE controllers USB ID is found using the DSE Configuration Suite PC Software as shownbelow.

4.2 LANGUAGE SELECTION

Multiple languages may be selected when using the DSEWebNet. The languages available are set bythe User Account and Organisation settings.

4.3 CONFIGURATION MODE

NOTE: Depending upon access restrictions set by the Organisation Administrator,someoptions and sections may not be accessable by the user.

The Configuration Modeis entered by clicking on the cog icon in the top right hand corner ofthe webpage.

When the Configuration Modeis entered, the cog icon in the top right hand corner of the webpage

turns green .

To exit the Configuration Mode, click the green cog in the top right hand corner of thewebpage. The webpage then refreshes so that the changes made take effect.

Two Language Selectionoptions are available. These aredependent upon the User Account and Organisationsettings. Seesection entitled Configuration Editelsewhere in this document.

The language to the left is the onecurrently selected. Click to change.

4.3.1 ACCOUNT

The users account information may be edited if the information provided at registration was incorrector has changed.

Field Description

Username The username of the account being edited.

First name The users first name

Last name The users last name

E-MailThe users email address. This is the default email address allocated toweb events when configured. The email address is also used to send anew password when requested.

Retype E-Mail If changing the email address, re-enter for confirmation.

MobileThe users mobile (cell) phone number with the country code. This is thedefault number allocated to web events when configured.

Language The default language the DSEWebNet displays

Old Password If changing the password, enter the existing password.

Password If changing the password, enter the new desired password

Confirm Password If changing the password, re-enter the new desired password

Update Account Details Save changes made to the users details

Pressure The default unit of pressure the DSEWebNet displays

Temperature The default unit of temperature the DSEWebNet displays

Change OrganisationClick to register the user to an existing organisation, a pop-up boxappears

Organisation The name of the organisation the user is registered to

Role The users role within the organisation

4.3.2 REPORTS

NOTE: A Report only operates if the DSE Controllersupports the instrument and relatedalarms selected. Refer to the DSE Controllers Operators Manual for further details.

NOTE: A Report only displays the previous months worth of data at a maximum.

It is possible to configure the DSEWebNet to send an email containing a report on a certain DSEControllers instruments or events automatically at configurable intervals. Reports are configured peruser account only.

NOTE: For information with regards to the set up of the DSEGateway, refer to DSEPublication:057-165 DSE890 & DSE891 Gateway Operators Manual located on the DSEwebsite: www.deepseaplc.com

The data used to create a report is uploaded to the DSEWebNet server at an interval configured inthe DSEGateway. If the Historic Upload Intervalhas been disabled, the Reports do not contain anyinformation. The resolution of the data used in the Reportsis also configured in the DSEGateway.

The method used to populate the Reportswith data changes depending up the Data Resolutionconfigured. When set to High, Medium or Low, data is only uploaded and reported if it has changedsince the last upload. For example, if the fuel level of a generator does not change, no information isuploaded leading to an empty report. When set to Snapshot, data is only uploaded and reported even

if it has not changed since the last upload. For example, if the fuel level of a generator does notchange, the report is full showing the fuel level has stayed constant.

NOTE: An Event Trigger only activates if the DSE Controllers event log supports the EventType used. Refer to the DSE Controllers Operators Manual for further details.

NOTE: SMS is only applicable when a DSE890 3G Gateway is used and fitted with a

suitable SIM card.

The DSEWebNet can be configured to send an email and or SMS upon a new event being logged inthe DSE Controllers event log. Event Triggers are configured per user account only.

To configure or edit an event trigger, select the DSE Controllerfrom the table on the left hand side ofthe webpage and select the event type required. Existing event triggers may be loaded from the LoadEvent Triggerdrop down menu to edit.

The DSEWebNet allows the organisation administrator to create and manage groups of organisationusers, sites or sets. These groups are used to provide a method of sending one Event Trigger

notification to multiple organisation users, or group certain sites and sets together to make viewing forthe organisation users easier.
