Banner Component & Module

• For managing & publishing banners in Joomla!, you need to use:– Banner Component for preparing a banner– Banner Module for setting how to display a banner

• In Joomla!, – the number of times to display a banner (known as

number of impressions) can be set and – the number of times a visitor clicks on the banner

(known as click-through) can be monitored.


Concepts of using Banners in Joomla!

• Banners need to be in association with the actual client or campaign

• So, a single client entry may have many banners linked to it for tracking and administration
