Durham Regional Hospital Appoints Chief Nurse Anesthetist Vicky Orto, MS, RN, NEA-BC Chief Nursing and Patient Care Services Officer Durham Regional Hospital It is with great pleasure that I announce that Darlene Williams, MHS, CRNA has accepted the position of chief nurse anesthetist at Durham Regional Hospital. Darlene received her master’s in Health Science with a focus in anesthesia from Texas Wesleyan University and her clinical training for nurse anesthesia from the Air Force Institute of Technology. She has twenty one years of nursing experience and has spent her last eight years here on the DRH Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) team. She has served as our assistant chief nurse anesthetist and most recently as our interim chief nurse anesthetist. At this time I also want to thank Melanie Sennett our previous chief nurse anesthetist. The CRNA team and I will always be grateful for her excellent leadership and dedication to our patients.
