Pilar, Olheiser are April’s Employees of the Month

Employees of the month for April were Mrs. Maria Pilar, M.C. Cash kindergarten teacher and

Mr. Bryan Olheiser, lead custodian at Laveen School.

Mrs. Pilar was recognized for always maintaining a positive attitude and holding high expecta-

tions for herself regarding the quality of work she performs. She is viewed as a positive role model

by the student body because she is so willing to help out in any situation. She is involved in a

number of committees that support the students and staff and still finds time to attend sporting

events, concerts, fundraisers and neighborhood clean-ups. Even as a kindergarten teacher, she

impacts the entire school by opening her door to anyone who may need extra support.

Mr. Olheiser was recognized for ensuring his school’s campus looks the best it can every day. In

addition to keeping the campus looking great, he is always willing to help when needed. He is

happy to help complete any task to ensure classroom instruction is interrupted as little as possi-

ble. He greets every visitor with the upmost respect.
