DNA/ SURGERY/ POLIO VACCINE Medicine is the most important field from all times. In

1928, Alexander Fleming discovered penicillin, which was a important cure for many infections during that time. The DNA was also an important discovery by Watson and Crick in 1953. Because of this, now in 21st century, Scientifics can use DNA for cloning and the Police can identify a criminal by just using the DNA of this person and compare to their results. Also, the discovery of the Polio vaccine was very helpful in the 1950’s by Jonas Salk. In addition, surgery advancement is so helpful for saving many lives of children, teenagers, adults, or older ages.

TELEPHONE/ TRANSISTOR/ MICROCHIP The ways we can communicate with our friends or families

changed during the 20th century. The telephone was one way we can communicate easily, invented by Alexander Graham Bell in 1876. This invention didn’t become popular until the 1910s and 1920s. A very significant invention was the transistor in the 1950s. Since the transistor made possible to have smaller and cheaper electronic goods to communicate. The invention of the microchip was also an impact during the 20th century because it allowed computers or phones to become smaller, faster, and mobile. Without it, we might still used those humongous cellphones people used way back.

AUTOMOBILE During the 20th century, going

somewhere was a little bit difficult, because you didn’t have too much options. To get to your destination, you could ride a bike, horse-drawn carriage, trains or walk. In 1908, Henry Ford created the first Model T automobile. Also, he is the founder of Ford Motor Company which exist now days.

FLIGHT The first manned flight was created by

the Wright brothers with their experiment of aircraft in 1903. In 1969, was the first time a manned spacecraft lands on the Moon by the commander Neil A. Armstrong. Now in days, airplanes and rockets are more advanced, people can fly to another country by airplanes with food aboard and a good comfortable seat.

INTERNET Another major advancement is the internet,

which many people now days are using it right now. The internet development thanks for the electronic computers in the 1950s. In 1991, the World Wide Web was created by Tim Berners-Lee. Thanks for him, we can find many jobs and useful things in internet. In the other hand, if you don’t know how to manage good the internet, it can also be something dangerous. That is why the internet is the last great inventions during the 20th century.

CONCLUSION For me I think that the first very important thing invented was the medicine.

Because, with the medicine, doctors now in days can help you with your sickness or prevent you from getting sick. Also, surgeons can save people’s life in most cases. The second thing I considered important is the way we can communicate now, through cellphones or computers, which are the most easiest and faster way to communicate. Automobiles are also an important invention to many people especially if they have work out of town or somewhere far away. Another way to transport can be by airplanes, to travel to another continent, country, or town. I put the internet at the final of the most important invention, because it can be good and useful; but it also can be dangerous if you don’t know how to use it very well. Like for example, hackers can be serious thing; they steal your identity or robe you from your accounts.
